They were very nice and professional with their business. Worked with me picking out the correct stain for my fence. The fence was beautiful after they finished. I would recommend them to everyone.
Fence staining. Fountain Inn, SC
Fence staining in Fountain Inn, SC.
Fountain Inn is growing fast, which means a lot of raw builder fences. Do not wait a year to let it dry if the moisture is already under 13%. That wait is how boards cup and grey.

This company did an outstanding job staining our fence here in Greer. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left everything clean. They used Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck in Exotic Mahogany and the color looks amazing: rich and even across the whole fence. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Highly recommend.
Super professional! Showed up when they were supposed to, communicated with us throughout the process. The finished job was top quality (power washed, and stained deck and fence).

The details
Fence staining in Fountain Inn, in detail

Adrian and his crew from Superior Stain Solutions did an excellent job staining our fence. It looks great! They were on time, polite and professional and got the job done efficiently. They were also careful to protect the house from overspray and they left the area clean when they finished. We plan to have them back to do our deck this fall. Highly recommended!
01 Fence staining in Fountain Inn: what to expect
New Fountain Inn fences are usually pressure-treated pine the builder left bare. We check moisture at the estimate.
If it is under 13%, it is ready. Waiting a calendar year "to dry" is how the boards grey, cup, and crack before anyone opens a can.
Older lines get a wash first. We do not stain over grey, mildew, or dirt.
Then it dries, we meter it again, and we put on a penetrating oil that soaks in. Samples go on your boards so you pick the color where it will live.
Flat-rate quote in writing, 12-month workmanship warranty, licensed RBS 66117 and insured. Based in Duncan. Fountain Inn is a regular Greenville County run, not a special trip.
See our fence staining process, or price it yourself with our fence stain calculator. Greyed or peeling wood may need fence and deck restoration first.

02 Step by step, in detail
- We look at the wood. We walk the fence, measure it, and check moisture. Oil-based stain needs wood under 13% moisture, so we tell you if it needs to dry first.
- We wash it if it needs it. Grey, dirty, or moldy wood gets washed and dries before stain. Stain over dirt does not last, so we do not skip this step.
- We stain it evenly. Penetrating stain, sprayed and back-brushed for even coverage with no drips or missed spots. The color you picked, the whole fence.
03 Fence staining around Fountain Inn
Fountain Inn's older streets near downtown have fences that were painted, stained, or left bare over the years, sometimes all three on one property. Before we quote, we figure out what is on the wood now.
Bare and previously stained boards can take a penetrating oil. A fence with old paint on it is a different job, and we tell you that up front.
Some Fountain Inn neighborhoods back up to water, like the Wilson Creek greenway by Country Gardens or the stream along Southbrook. Fences near a creek stay shaded and damp, and mildew tends to show up on the lower boards.
We wash, let the wood dry, and meter it before staining. Wooded communities like Carolina Oaks see the same thing on a smaller scale.

Colors
Light, warm, dark, or grey. You pick on your own wood.
Every photo is a real job. We bring samples to the estimate in Fountain Inn and put them on your boards.

You pick the color on your own boards.
We do not hand you a chart and walk away. At the estimate we put real stain samples on your fence or deck so you see the color on your wood, in your light. Transparent, semi-transparent, semi-solid, or solid. Light, warm, dark, or grey. Pick what you like and we match it.

Our fence has some old paint on it. Can you stain over it?
Not with a penetrating oil. Oil has to soak into bare or previously stained wood, and paint blocks it. If paint is on part of the fence, we go over the options at the estimate before we price anything.
Our fence backs up to the creek by Country Gardens. Anything different?
Creek-side fences stay shaded and damp, and mildew shows up on the lower boards. We wash, give the wood time to dry, and meter low on the fence before stain.
Our house is new. When should the fence get its first coat?
As soon as the wood is dry enough, which we check with a moisture meter. Under 13% is ready. That is often within the first season, before the first summer greys it.
How much does professional fence staining cost in Fountain Inn, SC?
Length, height, one side or both, the condition of the wood, and whether there is water and power on site. A short, clean, newer privacy fence with water on site is the easy end. Greyed wood that needs a wash, both sides, no spigot, is the hard end. We measure, then give you one flat number in writing. No hourly billing, no add-ons once we start. Estimates in Fountain Inn are free.
How often should I stain my fence in Fountain Inn?
Usually every 3 to 4 years. Opacity, sun, and maintenance can push that to 2 to 6 years. Decks often need attention a little sooner than fences.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. SC licensed RBS 66117, liability insurance, COI on request. 12-month workmanship warranty.
